Seretide is a brand medication that contains Salmeterol and Fluticasone, which belong to a class of bronchodilators and steroids. They work together to open up the airways to allow more air and reduce inflammation and smooth muscle spasms in the lungs. It is therefore used to treat acute asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Seretide is available in two different inhaler formulations, Accuhaler and Evohaler, each with a different inhaler technique. If you are unsure of how to use your inhaler, speak to your pharmacist for advice.
