Twynsta is a brand medication that contains Telmisartan and Amlodipine, which belongs to a class of antihypertensives called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) and Calcium channel blockers. Amlodipine helps with dilating the blood vessels to lower the blood pressure. Twynsta is therefore used in treating high blood pressure and reducing the risk of cardiovascular events, like heart failure and heart attack.
Telmisartan is available as tablets. It may be taken with or without food.
