Ruttonjee is a public hospital located in Wan Chai. It is under the Hospital Authority’s Management, and is a major acute general hospital providing accident and emergency (A&E) and specialist services.
It was opened in 1843 and underwent a series of upgrades until the end of 1993. Ruttonjee was then integrated with Tang Shiu Kin Hospital. It has 600 beds and is also one of the teaching hospitals of Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong.
