What is Spiolto?

Spiolto is a brand medication that contains Tiotropium and Olodaterol, which belong to a class of bronchodilators. They work together to further relax the smooth muscles in the lung and allow more air to enter the lung, as in the case of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD). They are long-acting drugs to ensure longer lasting effects of bronchodilation.

How to use it?

Spiolto is available as a Respimat inhaler, which is a specific formulation for easy-to-use inhalers.

 

For Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),
Inhaler 2 puffs once daily, at the same time every day.

What are the side effects of Spiolto?

Common side effects of Spiolto include dry mouth, pharyngitis, upper respiratory tract infection, angina and headache.

Who should not take Spiolto?

  • Anyone who is allergic to any component of Spiolto.
