Roflumilast belongs to a class of medications called phosphodiesterase inhibitors. It can relax the smooth muscle of the airways and stop the airways from reacting to external stimuli. Roflumilast is used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
In Hong Kong, Roflumilast is taken as oral tablets. It does not differ much whether you take the tablets before, during or after the meals.

Adult and elderly
250 mcg once daily for 4 weeks, followed by 500 mcg once daily.
Common dosing schedule:
Roflumilast tablets are taken once daily without regard to the meal arrangement. For example, you can take it in the morning to prevent the effect of sleeplessness.
