What is Oramedy?

Oramedy is a brand medication that contains Triamcinolone, which belongs to a class of medications called steroids. It works by suppressing the immune system and reducing inflammation. Oramedy is an oral paste formulation designed to treat mouth ulcers.

How to use it?

Oramedy is available as an oral paste.

For mouth ulcers,
Apply a small amount to the lesion until a thin and smooth film develops. Apple 2-4 times daily until healed.

What are the side effects of Oramedy?

Common side effects of Oramedy include skin irritation, burning sensation, tingling and oral mucosa changes.

Who should not take Oramedy?

  • People who are allergic to Oramedy or any component of the formulation
  • Patients with fungal, viral, or bacterial infections of the mouth or throat (only for oral paste)
