What is Harnal Ocas?

Harnal Ocas is a brand medication that contains Tamsulosin, which belongs to a class of medications known as alpha blockers. It works by relaxing your blood vessels to relax the muscles of your prostate. It is therefore used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

How to use it?

Harnal Ocas is available as capsules. It can be taken with or without food. Do not open, crush or chew the capsules.

For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH),
start with 0.4mg once daily and may increase to 0.4mg twice daily if no benefits are observed after 2-4 weeks. 

What are the side effects of Harnal Ocas?

Common side effects of Harnal Ocas include low blood pressure, dizziness, headache, ejaculation disorder and low leg swelling.

Who should not take Harnal Ocas?

  • People who are allergic to any component of Harnal Ocas.
