What is Fucicort?

Fucicort is a brand medication that contains Fusidic Acid (a fusidane antibiotic) and Betamethasone (a type of steroids). This combination is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

How to use it?

Fucicort is available as cream. Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times daily. Wash hands before and after each application.

What are the side effects of Fucicort?

Common side effects of Fucicort include allergic skin reactions and itching.

Who should not take Fucicort?

  • People allergic to any component of Fucicort.

  • Complete the whole course of this antibiotic, otherwise may increase the risk of re-infection.
