Femoston is a combination of two hormones belonging to the class of endocrine drugs. It is made up of dydrogesterone and estradiol. They resemble estrogen and progesterone, which are the female sex hormones serving the purposes of preventing osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and relieving vasomotor symptoms in connection with menopause.
The combination is available as tablets and there are two types of regimen, continuous combined and continuous sequential. It differs little regarding what time in a day you take the pills, but it has to be consistent between days. Swallow the tablet as a whole.
