What is Elomet for?

Elomet is a brand product that contains Mometasone, which is a class of steroid. It is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions, or in case of skin flare up in people with eczema.

How to use it?

Elomet is available as cream, ointment and lotion. It is for external use only.
Apply a small amount to the affected skin once daily for up to 2 weeks, or as directed by your doctor.

Therapy should be discontinued when control is achieved. If no improvement is seen within 2 weeks, consult your doctor.

What are the side effects of Elomet?

Common side effects of Elomet include skin stinging or irritation.

Who should not take Elomet?

People who are allergic to Mometasone furoate or any component of the formulation.
