Dutasteride works by reducing the production of a hormone that is known to induce prostate enlargement in men, while Tamsulosin relaxes the muscles in the bladder and prostate to improve urine outflow. Duodart is therefore used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men.
