What is Acertil?

Acertil is a brand medication that contains Perindopril, which belongs to a class of medications called angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs). ACEIs work by blocking the substances that constrict the blood vessels and hence more blood and oxygen can reach the heart. It is used in hypertension and heart failure. Acertil is also used in combination with Indapamine, in a formulation called Acertil Plus.
