The Hong Kong Adventist Hospital in Tsuen Wan was established in 1964 by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is a Christian organization “committed to whole-person healing”.

Then, in 2015, the hospital gained approval to start a biomedical engineering graduate training program that would be the first of its kind in Hong Kong, training well-qualified for professions in the hospital itself and the community.
