Julie Fowlkes’ Parent Workshops



The First Teachers Training is recommended for parents of children aged 0-6 years, this workshop will cover how to make reading aloud engaging and meaningful, strategies to encourage your children to love books, information on how reading relates to school success, and strategies how to pick the best books and implementing a reading routine.

The Transitional Readers Training is recommended for parents of children aged 4-8, this workshop covers information on the importance of developing life-long reading habits at an early age, how to enhance ability and interest in reading and writing, easy and fun ways to practice at home, information on how to improve development in regard to vocabulary, comprehension, and more.
